Just show a little kindness
This week, we have been helping to spread a little kindness. We talked about ways we could show kindness in class, at home, in the community and in the world. The children had a visit from the ‘Kindness Elf’ who left them a present, an advent of change calendar. The children have experienced the feeling you get when you show kindness to others. They have helped to spread joy across the world. So far they have helped a little girl get to school, given a sick pet some medicine, provided a meal to someone who was hungry and helped a child to visit the farm. We can’t wait to find out who we have helped next week.
Our kindness awards were given to Polly and Sophia this week. Everyday they spread a little kindness and make the world a better place.
Sophia noticed when a friend was feeling sad and decided to cheer her up, all by herself. She made her friend a model so that they could play together. This helped to spread some joy and showed many of our values. Well done Sophia.
Polly helped her friends this week when they needed support, she recognised when they needed help, all by herself. Polly showed such love and patience with her friends and helped to bring joy to others. Well done Polly.
