We are extremely lucky in Year One as we have a PE specialist come and teach our PE Lessons. This term we have been learning to move to music in different ways.
We began our dance topic by watching familiar clips such as the "Bob the Builder" theme tune. As a class we talked about the different actions we saw in the clip - hammering, tipping, drilling and later worked with a partner to come up with movements to represent these actions.
We then showed our movements to the rest of our friends and as a whole class decided which actions we wanted to use to create the start of our class dance.
We really enjoy putting our movements together and adding new parts to our dance each week. We have come up with some fantastic suggestions and ideas and love performing our routine to our pop track!
