We are extremely lucky in Year One as we have a specialist PE teacher come in to school to teach our PE lessons. This term we are learning how to move in different ways to music.
We began out dance topic by watching different clips such as the "Bob the Builder" theme tune to give us some inspiration for the different things we could include in our dance. We discussed the different things we saw such as hammering, drilling and tipping and with our partners thought about how we could represent these actions through dance.
We worked with a partner to explore some ideas and then shared them with our friends. As a whole class, we then picked our favourite moves for each action and put them together to create the start of our whole class dance routine.
Each week we have been adding new actions and enjoy performing what we have created so far to our pop music track.
