We have been thinking a lot in Willow about how we can show kindness not just with our words but with our actions too. The children shared some of their ideas and also things they have done at home and school. It was very hard to choose who the award should go to this week but I finally chose Caitlin for her kindness to another child who does not tend to play with others easily, but Caitlin will join him both in the classroom and on the playground to play which he really loves. Well done Caitlin. The other person I chose was Esmae-Rose, she tidies up our carpet after snack time picking up the straw wrappers and anything else left on the carpet, well done Esmae-Rose, both these girls show kindness everyday.
