This week with our numeracy the children have been practising their counting skills and also finding the number to match. They have helped me count all the different toys in my basket and have even found the matching number to go with it, how clever are we! We also love rolling the dice across our circle counting out the dots to match to number or finding out how many cubes we need to get out of Mrs Cox's bowl. The children have lots of opportunities to count and are encouraged to show me that many with their fingers.
