This week we have talking about comparing and what it means. The children had some fabulous ideas, thinking it was about counting, colour or shape. Together we learnt that we could compare items by their weight, size and amount. We used a dice to decide how many to put in two circles, before comparing them to find which had many or few. We sorted objects into long and short before finding the longest and shortest. We also had scales to find heavy and light objects. The children found lots of ways to compare this week.
