Cedar class welcomed parents, grandparents, aunties, sisters and brothers this afternoon.
They arrived armed with spades and trowels ready to dig holes to plant our wonderful saplings.
Each child planted their own tree with the help of their amazing adults. The children thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
Everybody worked together and made sure that every child planted a tree. The children and adults showed gentleness to their saplings, and the wiggly worm! They showed respect to the environment and kindness to each other.
They braved the weather and were even treated with a beautiful rainbow at the end of the day. The children were glad for the rain because it will help their saplings to grow.
Thank you to all of the family members that helped to plant Holly Hill's forest of the future!
