This week in Maple class, we have been living life in all its fullness within our maths lessons. We have been exploring addition and understanding that addition mean that our answer is greater. We have also learned about commutativity which means we can answer an addition number sentence with the numbers either way and still get the same answer.
E.g. 2 + 5 = 7 5 + 2 = 7
Some of us have been exploring addition practically before having a go in our own books.
