Magnificent Maths in Beech Class!
26th Jun 2025
This week, Beech Class have been living 'Life in all its Fullness' with some marvellous maths. We have been drawing and interpreting pictograms this week, including ones where the symbol is equivalent to 2, 5 or 10. During a consolidation session we investigated the favourite chocolate bar of our class. We took a vote and then recorded it as a tally chart on our mini-whiteboards. We then went outside to make a human block graph and answered questions such as 'How many more people liked Twix than Freddo?'. We then came inside and drew our own pictograms to represent the data. What busy mathematicians we have been!
