Due to the warm weather and hot temperatures in school in the afternoon we will close to ALL pupils at 1pm on Wednesday and Thursday. Children are able to wear their PE kit everyday this week.
This week we have been living 'Life in all its Fullness' with some super maths learning. We started the week by finding tens numbers and ones on a number-line. We had to look at the numbers at the start of the number-line and at the end to work out the intervals, and fill in the missing numbers. We then used this knowledge to start estimating where different 2-digit numbers might be found on a number-line. Towards the end of the week, we looked at comparing numbers using the words and symbols for 'greater than', 'less than' and 'equal to'. We compared different representations and then moved onto comparing 2-digit numbers to 100.
