This week we have been learning how to count backwards, find one less and comparing groups by matching.
We have been 'Living Life in all it's Fullness' by taking some of our learning outside this week.
We enjoyed reading the story '10 Little Dinosaurs.' On each page, something happened to a dinosaur, and one got taken away. We had to work out what was one less dinosaur on the page and show that many fingers.
Then, we worked in pairs and went out into the garden. Miss Lewis asked us to find one less of a given number of objects. We then bought that many objects back. For example, 1 less than 3 sticks, 1 less than 5 leaves.
Finally, we played a game in our pairs. One of us had to roll the dice and the other person in the pair had to build a tower of 1 less cubes. Then we swapped over so we both had a turn.
We have also completed some work in our books to show we have understood the learning.
