This week Maple class have been living life in all its fullness by looking at numbers from 11-20. We have learnt that all these numbers have one ten and a quantity of ones. We had to work really hard to solve the problem when we got to 20. We have been writing our own number lines on our whiteboards, making numbers out of numicon and writing the number sentences. For example one 10 and 6 ones we would write as 10+6=16. We have also been matching the numeral to the quantity of objects. Another fantastic week.
