Return to School Holly Hill School is open today as normal (Monday, 5th January). We look forward to seeing all the children at 8.30am. Road appear to be okay, but take care.
This week in Fir, we have been learning all about capacity, which is how much something can hold.
We have been exploring empty, one quarter, half, three quarters and full. We experimented with filling different shaped containers.
Then we introduced our new measuring term, millilitres.
We then explored filling our containers to a certain level and how to make sure we were precise and exact.
We had lots of fun!
