This week, demonstrating life in all its fullness, Cedar class have been busy mathematicians! We have been learning about patterns and counting one more than a given number. The children have really enjoyed spotting patterns around their environment and at school. Isabella spotted that her winter scarf has a stripy pink and white pattern!
Today in Math's, the children used teddy bears to understand what one more means. They then extended their learning to find one more on a number line. The children did very well in their focus task because of how hard they tried. Check out our class mathematicians below!
