The children in Reception and Nursery helped save the King and put a stop to the nasty spells Balthazar had cast upon him.
To break the spells the instruments from the string family had to play together.
The children were introduced to the viol, the violin, the viola, the cello and the double bass. We learned that the bigger the instrument the lower their sound.
The children learned about pitch, rhythm, tempo and texture.
Some children were lucky to be chosen to play the different instruments.
They had a wonderful time making high and low sounds, fast and slow sounds and loud and quiet sounds.
The story had a happy ending and the King was saved just in time for the Royal Wedding.
