We have had lots of opportunities to include music into our learning this week. Our focus letter is 't' so, the children tapped out the sounds and syllables during phonics. We have also been learning about carnivals as types of celebrations. Our hero Supertato, was getting ready for a carnival in our story, Carnival Catastro-pea. We listened to carnival music and practised drumming using pots and drums. We really liked the steel pan. To help us write, we did Write Dance and listened to a piece of music as we drew a volcano with both hands using large up and down motions. Well done Blossoming musicians for living life in all its fullness.
