Nursery are really enjoying their numeracy and have been busy taking part in lots of maths activities this week!
They have really enjoyed learning about the number 2 and how it can be represented in lots of different ways. They have also liked using the large numicon shapes outside, measuring how long the snakes are and how tall the bears are using unifix cubes, counting bears and matching them to the correct numeral and had a go at solving mathematical problems with numbers up to 5.
We continue to sing lots of number songs and daily counting in the environment such as at line up time for outside play, how many children have milk and how many children we have in Nursery today.
