Nursery have had another wonderful week. We have talked lots about winter and the children were able to speak about the types of weather we get in this season. They were all hopeful for snow however they seemed to enjoy just wrapping up warm and playing in our outside space in the icy weather!
In phonics we have been developing the children's listening skills and asking them to identify and describe the sounds they can hear. We played the game 'Listening Len's box', 'Noisy shakers' and 'Name the sound'. The children were fantastic at identifying the different animals in Len's box and the different environmental sounds they could hear during 'Name the sound'. Well done Nursery, you have been 'living life in all its fullness'.
