This week the children in Nursery have been thinking about 'more than' and 'fewer than' in their Maths work. We used real toys to compare which group had 'more' and which had 'fewer.' The word 'fewer' is quite new to some of us so we will be revisiting that in all aspects of our learning; such as when playing outside. 'Are there fewer tyres here than over there?' Also, when eating our dinner, 'do you have fewer peas than your friend?'
We encourage the children to embrace 'Life in all its Fullness' by challenging them to use these new words whenever they can.
