Nursery News
This half term Nursery have been thinking about how important it is to care for the environment. Last week, we read the story 'Harry saves the Ocean' and talked about the importance of recycling and putting our rubbish in the bin. We are continuing that theme this week with the story 'Clem and Crab' which we have started today.
In addition to this, we have been learning about looking after plants. Miss Filler kindly donated Nursery some tomato plants so we have talked about how to care for them. The children were so excited that we decided to let them plant some seeds to grow their own basil plants! As soon as they start growing, we will send them home so they can share their knowledge of caring for plants. Watch this space!
Finally, a huge well done to all our children for transition day. Saplings, you were superstars meeting your new teachers and Conkers, you made me super proud seeing how well you coped in Reception! Well done, you really are living life in all its fullness.
