This week in Willow class we have been thinking about the value of thankfulness, what it means to us and how this is shown. Willow came up with some lovely ideas such as –
Listening to others
Giving compliments
Give a hug
Offer to help tidy up even if they didn’t do that activity
Celebrate others achievements
Play a game you don’t really enjoy because your friend likes it
Spend time with each other
Be kind
Say sorry
Smile!
Willow class then did a fantastic job of showcasing all their ideas throughout the week showing so much thankfulness and gratitude towards others. We also had a lovely RE lesson on friendship and we got to talk about what makes a good friend.
