On Wednesday, the children along with Mrs Gallagher, Mrs Hood and Mrs Andrews braved the weather conditions to plant some new saplings in our school field including; Hawthorn, Rowan and Silver birch. The children planted their own labelled tree with help from lots of fantastic adults who came to help including; parents, grandparents, aunties and siblings. Thank you so much to all that came! Over the last few weeks the children have been learning all about the saplings, how we care for them and why trees are so important to us and the environment around us. We are looking forward to seeing them grow as the years go by!
