Ping Ting led our collective worship on Thursday and shared a story from the Bible in which Jacob had to demonstrate great patience.
Jacob wanted to marry Laban’s daughter, Rachel. Laban said that he could as long as he worked for him for seven years. Jacob agreed but Laban tricked him. Jacob ended up working for Laban for another seven years.
During that time, Jacob learnt to be a much better person because he had been patient and had listened to God.
