This week Cedar class has lived life in all its Fullness through their amazing phonics. They have been busy learning four new sounds. The sounds we have covered this week are y, z, zz and qu. The children are doing so well at retaining their sounds and they even recognise digraphs independently! Knowing all their sounds has really helped them progress in their reading. We really appreciate the reading they do at home as it consolidates their school learning, please continue with this. Don’t forget to look in their bag and on the website for the home learning worksheet that contains the sounds we do each week.
