Phonics Fun in Fir Class...
18th Jan 2024
Fir Class have been enjoying 'Life in all its Fullness' with some amazing Phonics learning this week. We have been working really hard since Christmas to learn new ways to read and write our vowel sounds. Last week we learned 'ay', 'ea', 'ie', 'oe' and 'ue'. This week we have learned our split digraphs: 'a-e' (snake), e-e (swede), i-e (bike), o-e (rope) and u-e (dude). These digraphs are a little bit trickier to remember because the letters are not next to each other in the word but we have enjoyed the new challenge.
Please enjoy some photos of our Phonics sessions this week.
