Year 2 have been very busy with their reading this term. Everyone gets a chance to read with an adult each day, whether it be one-to-one, in small group or during a Big Book read. We continue to read a new book each week, which the children bring home and have been reading Minibeast poems for Big Book.
In writing, we have been reading 'Buddy's Rainforest Rescue' to learn all about the animals' perspective of life in a rainforest.
Our class book this term has been 'The Witches' by Roald Dahl, we have loved getting to know the terrifying Grand High Witch!
