This half term in Nursery our learning is based on the theme of 'Celebrations.' We began by talking about the celebration of Christmas. The children loved telling their friends all about the presents they had and how the holidays were spent in their home.
In our second week we discussed birthdays. Some children in Nursery have reached four and some are still three. We sang 'Happy Birthday to you' and thought about what birthdays mean to us.
Last week we looked at weddings. The children talked about weddings they had been to and watched a clip of a boy and girl their age going to a wedding. Mrs Giles bought in some of her wedding photos for the children to have a look at. We also talked about the huge variety of different weddings that people can have.
This week we will be continuing the 'Celebrations' theme by learning about 'Chinese New Year.' This all adds up to learning about and living 'Life in all its Fullness.'
