This week in our RE time we talked about how our school was a church school and what this looked like. We talked about our special prayer space in Willow class and the children talked about their special place being their home. We also looked at some of the things we would find in our church that we might not find anywhere else. The children really enjoy sitting in our prayer space with their friends or alone, reading the stories and looking at the pictures or just sitting quietly and watching their friends in class. We also talked about how being a church school meant we were part of a bigger family and we had a uniform and emblem to show that. The children enjoyed colouring in a school jumper and putting our school dove emblem on it.
