Cedar Class have been busy becoming remarkable readers. In order to live life in all its fullness, the children are working hard to remember their sounds. We have started to learn digraphs this week which means 'two letters that make one sound'. The children have done a great job remembering all their rhymes to each sound and it is helping them with their reading. In school we have two phonics sessions to help embed the sounds and encourage blending. The children are beginning to be able to blend. Please encourage your children to blend at home by doing simple activities such as telling them they need to go to b- e- d or if they can h - o- p.
