This week we have been thinking about and talking about Remembrance Day and what it means to so many of us. We started by talking about what the children knew about remembrance and why it might be important. We talked about the poppy and why it might be used.
We then went on to talk about how Remembrance Day started and how it has grown to include all the people and animals that served also. This has shown how we live life in all its fullness.
The children enjoyed making our poppy wreath for the school service and were very proud to have it taken up in the service.
