Remembrance Day
This week in Cedar class we have been busy learning about Remembrance Day. The children have been thinking about the soldiers and how to celebrate them for what they did. They had lots of fun making their own poppies and they worked together to create a beautiful wreath. They also did really well when it was time to reflect during the two minute silence in the prayer garden.
In R.E, the children looked into what soldiers do and thought about what they would like to do when they grow up. They had lots of fun role-playing different occupations and asking each other probing questions about their jobs. We are proud to know that we have future doctors, hairdressers, gardeners and firefighters in our class.
Take a look at what we have been up to this week in the pictures below!
