Remembrance Day
8th Nov 2023
This week the children lived life in all it's fullness by celebrating Remembrance Day. They learnt that the day is important because it helps us remember the heroes who contributed to our safety now. They created their own poppies and learnt about why it is significant to the day. The children also explored the feelings that people fighting in the war would have felt such as being sad, scared or worried. They also took part in a minute silence in the prayer garden, to reflect together as a school.
