This week we were given a class challenge to make our very own Holly Hill scarecrow. We discussed what scarecrows were used for and what type of scarecrow we could make. We thought about our Christian School ethos and due to this week’s lovely weather we decided in Willow class to base our scarecrow on Noah’s Ark.
First, the children enjoyed hearing the story of Noah’s Ark then, the children in Willow worked hard together to paint the ark, colour and cut out the animals, make Noah’s face and help Miss Read to make Noah some sheep. We are very proud of our class creation and I am so proud of Willow class for working so well together as a team. Well done Willow class!
