This week, Beech have been living 'Life in all its Fullness' in our science lesson. Today was the first lesson on our new topic of 'Materials'. We started by consolidating our learning from Year 1. Each group had a group of objects to sort. We made our own labels for each material on a post-it and then grouped the objects according to the labels. We then thought about the properties of each materials and wrote some sentences to describe the materials. Mrs Smith was so impressed with all of the vocabulary that the children remembered from Year 1.
