The children are very excited to be back at school. As part of living life in all its fullness, we have been doing some experiments to learn more about states of matter. We made a lava lamp and the children were fascinated to see the oil float on top of the water. They even added raisins and food colouring which sank to the bottom through the oil. They loved seeing the air bubbles move up and down the liquid. Some children made gloop while others attempted to launch mini rockets. They have worked well in their teams and been excellent discoverers and scientists.
