Sensational Science!
During this half term, Beech Class have been living life in all its fullness by learning about 'Our Bodies'. We have been learning about how to keep our bodies clean, including what happens if we don't wash our hands. To find out what would happen, we carried out a simple comparative test involving slices of bread and our hands. Mrs Bayliss told us that mould would grow where germs had touched the bread. Using an untouched slice of bread, a slice of bread touched by unclean hands and a slice touched by just washed hands, we popped them into plastic bags and left them for a week. Look at these pictures of our experiment write ups to find out what happened...
