This week the children in Cedar class have enjoyed using tools for a purpose and exploring different materials and textures. They have made their own kites and decorated them using a range of resources. Each kite is unique and reflects the children's characters. They enjoyed cutting, sticking and selecting materials independently. We talked about our favourite colours and investigated different textures using our sense of touch. We displayed our kites to brighten up our classroom. The children have also been very busy creating decorations for our Macmillan Cake Sale.
