Wow! Nursery have been ‘living life in all its fullness’ over the last two weeks. The children have been loving coming in to their new nursery, getting to know their teachers and new friends. We have been so impressed at how well they have all settled. Well done Nursery!
We have focused on learning our basic rules and routines – stopping when we hear the tambourine, sitting on a bug on the carpet looking at the adult talking, how to share toys and how to look after our classroom. We have also spent time showing the children how to flush the toilet after use and how to wash their hands.
We have had lots of fun exploring our classroom and have especially enjoyed the home corner, the playdoh and the construction area. Outside we have enjoyed playing with water, building towers using the soft bricks and climbing up the big hill.
Well done for your first two weeks at nursery. We look forward to seeing you next week.
