Shapes in Fir!

This week, we have been living life in all its fullness as we explore 2D and 3D shapes.

We started by looking at some of Santa's presents that had fallen off the sleigh. Santa needed us to sort them out so he knew which ones to deliver.  We learned about spheres, cones, cubes, cuboids, cylinders and pyramids. We even looked at a triangular prism!

We also looked at 2D shapes, which we know are flat. We had a go at making different 2D shapes with lollypop sticks and had to figure out if we could make a circle with straight lines (we couldn't!)

We have had so much fun learning about shapes!
