This week we have been learning all about subtraction. We have learned that subtraction means taking one number away from another, which leaves us with a smaller number at the end. We know that there are different words that mean take away, such as minus or less.
We have been practising our subtraction using number lines and hundred squares, as well as problem solving.
We have been working hard as a team to solve problems with Miss Whatmore and Miss Friar - we have to watch very carefully in case they try to trick us! We have been fantastic at being resilient problem solvers - we know that sometime making mistakes is the best way to learn, but that we should always try and try again!
