At the end of another fantastic week in Nursery I have enjoyed looking back at all the learning that has been taking place. The children really have been ‘living life in all its fullness’. The favourite space this week seems to be the Construction area. The children loved creating boats, cars, houses and dens out of cardboard boxes. The team work and communication between the children was fantastic. Well done Nursery!
Writing in Nursery looks quite different to other year groups as we are developing the skills we need to help us to write. This week we have been using tweezers to feed the carrots to the rabbit and the bones to the dog. We have been using large and small chalks to create a range of different sized pictures and we have enjoyed drawing our families using whiteboards and whiteboard pens. Finally, I asked the children to select their name from the table and attempt to write it. They all tried so hard to recognise their name and have a go at writing it! Keep it up Nursery!
