Recently, we’ve been learning about plants, seeds and bulbs. First, we remembered the parts of a plant from Year 1. Then, we thought about seeds and what they need to grow. Many of us thought that plants need light, water, a suitable temperature and soil to grow so we designed an experiment to see if we were correct. In our results we found out that light, water and the right temperature are essential but plants don’t actually need soil to grow. Did you know that too?
