The children have all made fantastic progress in phonics. They are now secure in their single sounds and their digraphs too! This has had a huge impact on their reading and writing ability. Hearing them read with confidence is amazing and we make sure to regularly read in school. In order to help push them and get them ready for next year, it is crucial that they continue to read at home. Due to them being more secure in phonics, their writing ability has also come on leaps and bounds.
