In year one, we live life in all its fullness every day as we learn to decode and read words with Supersonic Phonics Friends. We work really hard every day to practise and learn new sounds so we can read and write beautiful words and sentences.
Twice a day, we look at all the sounds we have learning during Speed Sounds. We have to focus really hard to make sure we don’t miss any!
Then we begin learning our sound of the day. We listen, see, segment, build and blend, as well as read and write.
By practising our phonics everyday, we are able to read beautifully and write amazing pieces of work. Take a look at some of our phonics work and our writing about Cadbury this week!
