Year 1 and 2 went on a fabulous adventure to Birmingham city centre on Monday 10th February, where we visited Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, the Library of Birmingham and the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra.
We had a wonderful time as we explored a number of artefacts, sculptures and paintings (including the work of L. S. Lowry) in Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery.
The children loved visiting the library as they were given the opportunity to read books about the topics that they were interested in and hadn’t had the opportunity to read yet.
We also had the chance to listen to the mesmerizing instruments being played in the orchestra as we hunted for the disco dinosaurs! We helped to discover the dinosaurs by singing the fantastic rap and dancing along…the disco dinosaurs couldn’t wait to join in on the fun!
