This week in Fir class, we have been learning all about many different aspects of the world around us.
In RE, we have been thinking about 'Who is Jesus.' We have been developing our thoughts looking at different events within Jesus' life and relating them to our own. We have been thinking about the differences between ordinary events and extraordinary. What events from Jesus' life do you think are extraordinary?
In Science, we have been expanding our minds exploring different everyday materials. We have been investigating different everyday objects and identifying what they are made from. Did you know that some materials are natural and some are man-made?
In PE, we have been working on our Sports Day skills. This week, we have focused on the egg and spoon race. This has supported our development with balancing. We had great fun!
Finally, in history and geography, we have been finding out all about the Cadbury Brothers. We have found out new facts about them including when Cadbury was created and when their first factory opened. We have also identified where the Cadbury factory is located and compared the differences between where we live and Bournville.
