This half term we have been demonstrating life in all its fullness by learning about the Dalai Lama. We have shared learning about his life and also read his story called 'The Seed of Compassion' which has helped us to gain a deeper understanding of his life and teachings. In Maple Class, we have been able to link this to our work in science where we are appreciating the natural world around us. We are also carrying this knowledge forward to our topic on pollution and recognising that it is up to all of us to make changes in order to care for and look after the planet and all of its inhabitants.
