Year 1 had a very exciting day on Tuesday when Graham and Sue (The Dinosaur Man and Lady) came to visit us.
The children had lots of wonderful learning experiences including; looking and learning even more about dinosaurs from a real palaeontologist, listening to some of the sounds scientists think the dinosaurs might have made, exploring the hall to try to find all the dinosaurs for a matching activity, looking at some real dinosaur fossils and even getting a chance to hold a baby dinosaur (fossilised and inside an egg but still...WOW!), choosing one of their favourite dinosaurs to draw a picture of and then to end our exciting day we were visited by the first female palaeontologist, Mary Anning!
