This week we have been learning all about why Easter is important for Christians. Sharing the Easter story together, we talked about specialness in considering the place of Jesus as a special person in the Christian faith, and Easter as a special time for Christians. Then, we discussed the new life that’s a part of the Easter story, reflecting on how Spring is a special time in the calendar of seasons as a celebration of new life all around.
Finally, we did some beautiful stained-glass colouring and made Easter cards. We also sang, made flower crosses and had lots of fun making an Easter egg using paint and lots of rolling!
There may have also been a little chocolate involved too!
