Today we enjoyed another Bible story with Open the Book called ‘The Jar and the Jug’. The children enjoyed helping to act out the story where a poor widow was helped by God as her she had a jug which never ran out of oil.
We reflected on this week’s value of tolerance and ended with a prayer, written by the children of Beech class:
Dear loving God,
Thank you for teaching us to love others as much as you do.
Help us to show tolerance and play with people that we don’t usually play with and celebrate their differences.
We also pray for tolerance to be shown around the world.
